About Matthew Mayrand, CCIM

Matthew J. Mayrand created May Property Management to address the need for efficient property management in Central Massachusetts. In addition to property management, Matt is an active commercial real estate broker. He has been working with property owners and tenants for over eight years. Through his brokerage experience he has gained in-depth market knowledge of the local commercial & investment real estate market. In 2010 Matt earned the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. This designation is earned by submitting a qualifying portfolio of commercial real estate sale & lease transactions total $10 million. Extensive course work in every aspect of investment real estate is also required. Currently, there are less than four CCIM designees in Central Massachusetts. In 1996 Matthew graduated from Clark University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Over the next six year he worked in sales, marketing and business development roles for advertising and technology companies. Fatigued by the “Dot Com Bubble” Matt decided to focus his career on the more tangible commercial real estate market. Matthew Mayrand was honored by Worcester Business Journal as one of the 2011 40 Under 40. The Worcester Business Journal has been identifying 40 business leaders under the age of 40 since the year 2000. This is a special honor for business leaders that have a commitment and passion to give back to the community.
